So, I just finished the second half of a creative workshop and find myself inspired. For the last few weeks, we focused as a group on finding our "authentic artistic voices." Part of that discussion included an image being shared around Facebook, titled "How to Feel Miserable as an Artist." http://creativecreativity.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/01/10/miserableartist.jpg We went through this list, and made one of our own, taking these things, and framing them positively. The resulting list, which we called "How to Thrive as an Artist," will be posted on my blog daily. These ideas have really shaped how I view myself as an artist, an

In the last few months, I've expanded my writing to include non-fiction, poetry, minimalism and now...the blog! My goal is to make my work as visible as possible in the hopes of getting as much feedback as I can, so now you can find my work at http://lunapiere.blogspot.com/ as well as here. Please drop on by The Dreamscape sometime; it looks pretty cool, if I do say so myself, and I plan to be making regular posts. Since I try to keep my writing on DA limited to what I consider more artistic work, you'll be likely to find some of my more reflective or socially-minded writings there as well. Much love!

Hey, so I had a break at the end of last term through the holidays, but now it looks like I've got a proper excuse to spend more of my time writing. Because of the nature of the course I'm taking, I should be adding a lot of creative non-fiction over the next few months. So far,the class looks like it's basically creative journaling, but I think it'll be a good way to explore my writing style while having to closely examine what it is that I am writing about. They may not seem as shiny or fantastic as fiction, but with any luck I might be producing some work for class you may actually enjoy reading. It's the goal to post projects before they

thank u for the amazing critique!
My pleasure. Credit given where credit is due.
I'll have to add "Finding your Facebook" to my list of things I can't do.
I found you! 8D!!! w00t! Now I'll just have to wait patiently for you to come see me! *sits on the ground*
I'm afraid I've kept you waiting a rather long time. Don't you get sore sitting in that position for so long?
*coughs and brushed off cobwebs* Oh, only a little bit. But I'm fine! 8D!

XD How are you!
Not doing too bad. Bouncing between Belfast, San Jose and Salem. The last twelve months have been crazy!! And yourself?
